Class Rhythms (but no blues)

#Remote Learning

In the slideshow below are some helpful strategies for setting up a remote learning environment at home.  The important thing is to know yourself and make choices that help you get the most out of your learning.

Intervention/Enrichment (I/E) & Student Connections Periods
Teachers are also available to meet with students in groups or individually during Intervention/Enrichment time Monday - Thursday from 1:45 - 3:00.   Students are not required to come to IE every day, but teachers may request students to attend as needed, and students may certainly request to meet with teachers then, too.

*Mrs. Bestor's classes have a Google Classroom set up for Intervention/Enrichment & Student Connection times, and all of her students have been invited to join.

*Mrs. Jones's classes will...
  1. Type go.meet into a new search bar.
  2. Then they will be prompted to join a Google Meet.
  3. When they click on the plus sign there, they will be prompted to enter a nickname for the Meet.
  4. The nickname for Mrs. Jones's Meet is Joneshelp.

Also, should teachers and students need to meet, on Friday from 2:45 - 3:15 there is also time.  Students can access their teachers using the same method they use for I/E time.

#How Our Classroom Works

Classroom Contracts by Consensus -- Mrs. Bestor's Classes!

The creation of our classroom contract was a collaborative, multi day, consensus-driven process that resulted in students creating a vision for their learning environment, a set of agreements (norms) in order to fulfill the vision, and a set of non-negotiables, or those mindsets and behaviors we cannot tolerate if we are to see our vision through.

We are all proud of the work we did! Check it out below, as presented by class period.
