Work Product Ideas
-Poster/Art Work
- collages with words and images you draw, paint or clip for magazines or newspapers. Collages may also be made in Google Docs using clip and word art combined with text.
- a single representative drawing with accompanying text that addresses the guiding prompts
- Include images that represent the content of the guiding prompts below along with your written responses
- Create a video in which you address the guiding prompts below. Act out scenes or create an interview or imagine some other means to demonstrate that you understand and are able to communicate the content the guiding prompts ask you to think about.
- For those that don't choose any of the above, you may use the ready made Google Doc template linked below. IMPORTANT! You will have to make a copy of the Doc before you begin!
Guiding Prompts for Writing
- How do utopias and dystopias differ?
- Explain 3 characteristics of a dystopian society. Use your own words. (HONORS: 5 characteristics)
- Describe 3 traits of the dystopian protagonist (hero).
- Give a brief summary (no longer than a single paragraph) of a dystopian movie or TV show you've seen or a dystopian book you've read in the past.. To do this well, imagine you are telling someone about this TV show, movie, or book in case they are intersted in experiencing it. for themselves. If you have neither read nor seen a dystopian story, let your teacher know.
